My Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is really, really important to me.   While on my website, certain identifiable and generic information is collected.  This policy explains that collection process, and what I do with the information.  You can find this notice on all pages of my website.

The Information I Collect:

I use analytics to measure my website’s traffic.  The software I use collects information about you, like where you’re from, what pages you looked at, how you got to the website, which browser and OS you use, and various other bits of information.  The information I get is aggregate, I don’t know who is associated with what.  I also collect emails for my email newsletter.

There is a form on my site, and you may fill out the form when you contact me.  The information I collect here is:

Email address
Phone number
Website address

Questionnaires and Market Research

From time to time, you may receive an invitation to participate in some market research.  I currently use Survey Monkey for creating surveys and questionnaires.  The information is protected behind a secure socket layer (SSL).  Names and email addresses will not be gathered.  Your IP address is logged during the survey.  IP addresses are used to identify information such as general location and other aggregate data, but are not shared with anyone or stored outside of the Survey Monkey system.  If you wish to enquire about your IP address, please contact me.

I may publish or share the aggregate data with others upon request.  I will never publish or share any personally identifiable information, such as IP address, with anyone.

The Way I Use Information:

I only ever use the information to respond to submissions and inquiries and I never, ever, ever share it with anyone else, for any other reason.   If I must share it to complete an order, I will ask your permission first.

You can sign up for my newsletter.  I don’t automatically sign anyone up for the newsletter, even if I have their email address from other types of contact.

How You Can Access Or Change Your Information

You can access all your personally identifiable information that I collect by contacting me.  If I have posted something in error, and you have credible information to the fact, drop me a line and if the information checks out, I’ll make a change.
